Chocolate Cherry Baked Oats

Dessert for breakfast, or breakfast for dessert?


 


Chocolate Cherry Baked Oats

Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free

Serves 1


Ingredients

  • 1/2 c oats

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1/3 c applesauce

  • 5 crushed pitted cherries

  • 1.5 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch salt

  • A handful chocolate chips


Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 °F and grease a small to medium ramekin.

  2. Combine all of the ingredients (except for the chocolate chips) in a blender; pulse until smooth.

  3. Mix in the chocolate chips, make for 30 minutes, and enjoy!
