...that are more like Oreos’ softer, thicker cookie cousins :)
This recipe is SUPER easy and straight from a Tiktok by @ziaaaaamiaaaa! Click the link to see how she makes it! I'm including the written recipe below to make it easier for y'all.
1 c softened butter
1 c granulated white sugar
2 c AP flour
1 1/4 c cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
1/2 c softened butter
2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325 °F.
Combine the softened butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add in the eggs until evenly mixed into the butter-sugar mixture.
Add in the rest of the ingredients until your dough forms. I refrigerated mine for about 20 minutes before rolling it out, but you don't have to.
Roll out your dough pretty thinly, maybe 1/8th inch, and cut out as many small circles as you can, re-rolling leftover dough out to make more circles. I used a circle cookie cutter, but you can also use the top of a jar or any small round object you have.
Bake the cookies for about 12 minutes and let cool completely.
Combine the ingredients for the creme until smooth and evenly combined.
Add a spoonful of creme to the bottom of one cookie and sandwich another atop of it. Repeat until you use all of your cookies.
