Microwave Cinnamon Rolls for One

A quick way to some cinnamony deliciousness.


Microwave Cinnamon Rolls for One

Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free

Serves 1



  • 1/2 c gluten-free AP flour

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • pinch of kosher salt

  • 1/4 c applesauce

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • lots of cinnamon!


  1. Whisk together the GF AP flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine the applesauce, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

  3. Add the wet to dry ingredients and gently knead until you form a smooth ball of dough.

  4. Thinly roll out the dough into a long rectangle.

  5. Spread the maple syrup and generously sprinkle cinnamon on top.

  6. Slice in half to form two long rectangles. Roll each rectangle into a bun and place both in a greased mug.

  7. Microwave for 60 to 75 seconds and enjoy!
